2026Trivia Championship
Proceeds from the Spirit of Brevard, Inc. 2026 Trivia Championship will benefit these causes:
Serving the North Brevard community since 1958, this non-profit charity is committed to strengthening families and individuals by providing compassionate support to meet basic needs and create pathways to self-sufficiency. NBC serves families (single or double parent) with children (five thousand live in poverty), individuals, veterans, seniors, and others at risk of homelessness. Their services include emergency, transitional and affordable housing to no/low- moderate income households. They operate a nutritious food pantry – one of only three in Brevard, and their thrift store serves all. They also provide school supplies, clothing, assistance with medical and dental expenses, transportation, life skills, coaching, and job training. The primary funding sources for all NBC programs are donations and proceeds from the thrift store. Support from this year’s trivia event will assist in home renovations for housing for seniors and the unhoused, and help fund safety equipment, including security cameras.
Life Recaptured offers women who are trapped in sexual exploitation a way to refuge and freedom. They strive to eradicate sex trafficking through awareness, prevention, and restoration. They offer a complete approach by bringing solutions to end sex trafficking, heal survivors through physical and mental health care, case management, spiritual guidance, and mentorship. They operate a “Relief and Renewal Residence” Home residential program to provide a safe and compassionate haven where women can find healing, education, and empowerment to take back their lives. They receive no federal funding and rely on private donations and proceeds from their thrift store. Our financial support will be earmarked for home and operational expenses.
The Boys and Girls Clubs in Titusville and Cocoa serve diverse local groups of 6–18-year-old children. The Clubs are a support system parent(s) and caregivers can rely on when needed most – during after-school hours and in the summer. At the Clubs, young people are met by caring, trained staff ready to ignite their interests, build their confidence, and champion their future. Innovative programs are designed to empower youth to excel in school, become good citizens and lead healthy, productive lives. America’s future will be shaped by the way kids are supported today and create a generation of empowered and prepared leaders for tomorrow. Engage. Inspire. Empower. Their funding sources include federal grants, donations from the Jess Parrish Medical Foundation and fundraisers. Spirit of Brevard’s 2026 Trivia proceeds will support summer programs, transportation needs, tutoring, and the breakfast and lunch services.
